Expo Congress Hotel

Hotel is very good, cosy rooms, clean hotel. Sauna on the top floor was a plus and a nice bar with the view as well. Breakfast was also OK, with a good choice of food and drinks so anyone can get something he likes. Check in was smooth, very friendly staff. Free parking and just a short walk to the metro station...., so if you still can use your legs, not a problem at all. There are some nice local bars in vicinity, so you can get also some local "taste" of Budapest.

We chose this place after reading the reviews but nothing was like what was stated there. There was a lot of reviews mentioning that there is plenty of parking place but we struggled with that. The good part is that there is a parking lot close by that saved us. It's a little hard to reach the city center by public transport, but not that bad. The room has nice furniture, was really spacious and clean, though we had one of the bigger rooms, I heard from the reception. Loved the big window and the bathroom. We could buy big bottles of water from the reception and that I thinks it is really nice. The staff was really nice as well and helpful but I personally hate when I am called at 11 sharp to get reminded that we need to live the room, especially 11 being not a reasonable hour for a check out. The most shocking part regarding the before reviews was that everybody said that the breakfast was good. The breakfast was far from good for a breakfast or generally fpr a hotel breakfast... I really think that it needs a lot of work. That part was really hard for us cause we extended our stay and the longer being there, the harder being able to eat.

Enough parking places in front of the hotel, free. Easy reacheable by car from the highway. Big room, clean. Very good and rich breakfast included. 15 minutes walking to the metro station to reach the city center, maybe this is the only negative if you not want walking.

The metro is about 15 minutes away. The city center can be reached in 10 minutes. Free parking in front of the hotel Spacious room. There is a safe, a kettle, tea set and a small refrigerator. Everything works fine. Heating works well (we were at the end of October). Comfortable bathroom. Great breakfast (several types of slicing meat and cheese, yoghurts, muesli, eggs, hot sausages and becon, different fruits and vegetables, a lot of different baked goods. Everything was fresh. Good coffee. The restaurant staff are very fast and friendly. WI-FI works very well. Friendly and helpful reception. No problem with payment. Check-in and check-out - 2 minutes. Everything corresponded to the photos on the Booking.

Nice view from the room (stayed on 11th floor), very good breakfast with wide selection and good parking in front of the hotel (for free). Hotel is not in the city center, but the M2 metro station is only 10 minutes walking away.
